Food is what brings people together on social occasions, business meetings and entertainment. Food is not just a need; it is fun and full of pleasures!
It makes us use our 5 senses; we see food, we smell it, we touch it, we taste it, and we hear its sound in our mouth!
So people, why don’t you enjoy food instead of abusing it? Why don’t you taste each bite and feel it instead of eating mechanically?
The goal of a healthy nutrition is not making people go through starvation, or cutting out food you like. Nutrition is teaching you food appreciation. This is our job at Decathlon Dietetic Center. We teach you how to follow a healthy diet, how to enjoy a variety of food, how to balance between food groups, and how to apply moderation.
In order to guide your steps towards health we complement your diet plan with a physical activity program. The benefits of sports are well-known, active people have a nutritional health, they have optimal body composition, optimal bone density, a lower risk for developing cardiovascular diseases and some types of cancer, as well as a reduced risk for developing anxiety and depression.
In our facility we nurture each member by tailoring a program for him after assessing his body composition and lifestyle and we follow him regularly by assessing his needs and offering choices at each step.
